Ince Start Well Family Centre (which replaces the Children's Centre at Sacred Heart and Beech Hill) supports the communities of Wigan Town Centre, Standish, Shevington, Ince and Scholes, Aspull, New Springs and Whelley.

In light of the recent updates regarding COVID-19, Ince Start Well Family Centre has been directed by Wigan Council to cancel all sessions for the foreseeable future. They have however created a weekly home learning event on their Facebook page to encourage families to take part in a range of activities at home:

They will provide families with a range of different activities for all ages each week. Parents/carers can send in pictures and short description of what they have been up to, and Ince Start Well Family Centre will display all submitted pictures each Friday. Please send your pictures to their Facebook page through Facebook messenger.
